With colleagues hailing from the Phillipines to Germany and from Ukraine to Colombia - our sales team is quite international to say the least. Relentless, full of energy and not afraid to do things differently; the team embodies the characteristics of a a scale-up company like TRAVIS.

Your challenge

Industry leaders such as Amazon and GIRTEKA have already fully integrated their systems with our platform; hundreds of their truck services are automatically booked via TRAVIS daily: now it’s your turn to get the rest of the market on board. But; maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers is equally important: we are going for the whole package. Someone as much of a salesperson as an account manager, and last but not least: a great colleague, who we’d love to have around during Friday’s after-work drinks.

How are you going to do that?

You'll be conquering the European road mobility market, starting with the big dogs by:

  • Translate customer business needs into scalable (software) solutions and discuss current and future needs with our Product Team

  • Onboard new customers and guide their start in the first weeks in our platform

  • Giving sales pitches that fleet managers would fall in love with.

  • Negotiating contracts with large carriers and getting them to sign for a fair price.
  • Making your contracts more active; transactions are made by retention!
  • Elevating our product and sales pitch to the next level than where it already is
  • Teaming up with your sales colleagues to share your learnings, develop customer demand, and service location offers in a balanced way;
  • Ensuring all (prospective) customer data is captured and kept up-to-date in our system. 

What is TRAVIS looking for?

Obviously you are entrepreneurial, eager to learn and giving up is not an option. Besides that, you;

  • Have at least 3 years of sales experience and not afraid of acquisition.
  • Have an extraverted personality, direct way of communication and pro-active way of working.
  • Are located in the Netherlands close to our Tilburg office or willing to relocate here.
  • Are a proficient communicator in English (near native level). An additonal European language is a plus.
  • Are charismatic; is capable of creating a friendly sales spirit in the team and shares proactively your practical experiences with your colleagues.
  • Have strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Are pragmatic, hands-on mentality, and target-focused.
  • Experience in the logistics/transport/mobility/freight industry and technological savviness is a plus.
