Main Purpose of the role:    

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up our automated test suite and bringing it to the next level. You will do so by retrieving requirements directly from stakeholders within our company, safeguarding the process of updating existing tests as requested by the development teams and always looking for a better way to set up the test automation system. Next to this you will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the development team.  

Responsibilities:   

• Design and setup the automated integration test suite 

• Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.  

• Design and implement the way of working in the QA team 

• Executing tests on software usability.  

• Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.  

• Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the development team.  

• Interacting with stakeholders to understand product requirements.  

• Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.  

    Knowledge of and experience with:   

• Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.   

• Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.  

• Experience with setting up automated integration test suites (preferably in Playwright) 

• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.  

• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.  

• Experience with end-to-end, integration, API and automated testing 

 Requirements: 

• Have a collaborative attitude when it comes to teamwork. 

• Embrace a proactive approach to enhancing the test suites. 

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in automating test suites. 

• At least bachelor's degree working and thinking level  

• Are fluent in English (both spoken and written)

• Have a background in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field
