Join TRAVIS: the fast-growing SaaS scale-up digitizing the truck services industry.

Our marketplace (B2B platform and B2C app) standardizes the offering of thousands of truck service locations (e.g. truck washing, parking and charging) across Europe. Historically, all these locations were offered very decentralized, with their own structures on information, prices, services and payment options.

With TRAVIS, companies that transport goods over land make use of these services in a centralized and standardized way. We are trusted by the likes of Amazon, Girteka, DB Schenker and most of Europe’s largest transport companies. Our benefit for them is the way in which we standardize, digitize and increasingly automate the way truck services can be searched, booked and paid. By additionally partnering with fuel card providers like Shell, DKV and UTA, we allow many locations to be booked and paid in easier ways.

Main Purpose of the Role 

As our Account Manager for the German market, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong business relationships in Germany. This role covers the full sales cycle, from sourcing new opportunities to up-selling and cross-selling to both new and existing customers. We seek a natural hunter with a proven track record in account management, capable of driving growth and maximizing customer value. 

Responsibilities💻

  • Draft a plan to conquer the German carrier market together with the head of sales, direct colleagues and marketing department.  

  • Source and qualify leads with sales support and our AI specialist 

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales demo's to new and existing customers 

  • Establish and maintain both operational and C-level relationships with decision-makers across both medium and enterprise type transport companies 

  • Independently negotiate price levels and contracts with your portfolio customers 

  • Actively monitor and work together with customers success on existing customer accounts to increase up- and cross-sell in fixed intervals.  

  • Work with partners of TRAVIS on country level; like Shell, software providers and others to work new and existing accounts. 

  • Visit fairs and do business trips to customers in one or multiple countries when and where needed 

  • Work together with marketing and product to work on ideas, features and initiatives where possible or needed. 

Requirements📑  

Your ideal hard skills for this role

  • Native German level is required, as the role primarily focuses on Germany.  

  • Proficiency in English is essential.  

  • Fluency in an additional European language is a plus. 

  • 3+ years of demonstrated commercial experience in sales, business development, and/or commercial support. If you have less experience but relevant experience in the transport industry we are happy to get in touch! 

  • Proven track record in building your own portfolio of clients from the ground up (with the necessary support, of course). 

  • Proven experience to handle more complex accounts in negotiations, solution-based selling and challenger sales 

  • Clear ideas and beliefs on how to built and grow a portfolio of customers by up- and cross-selling 

  • Experience in opening market(s) or to a lesser degree specific industries / verticals is considered a plus

Although we provide a lot of freedom, we are looking for some structure in how you go about your week and how you log things in our CRM HubSpot
